Definitions

Rensta Utbildningsforum AB is referred to below as “Rensta.” The customer whose personal data is collected and processed is referred to below as “the Customer/You.”

Personal Data constitutes any information that can be directly or indirectly linked to a living person—for example, a name, personal identity number, address, or photos. For a complete definition of personal data, please refer to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Chapter 1, Article 4; Definitions.

What personal data is collected?

Rensta collects and stores personal data such as names, personal identity numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, telephone numbers, photos, and video clips that are necessary and compatible with the purposes of the processing.

How is personal data collected?

The collection of personal data during course bookings takes place via email or telephone. Personal data is also collected via participant forms during training sessions and expressions of interest for courses. During validation, information is collected from third parties (the Swedish Public Employment Service), via inquiry documents, and orally.

Why is the personal data processed and on what legal grounds?

To fulfill contracts

Rensta must process personal data in order to fulfill agreements between Rensta and the Customer. The processing is necessary for Rensta to be able to administer and manage training courses, the eligibility of course participants, validation activities, and other administrative commitments toward the Customer.

To fulfill legal obligations

Rensta processes personal data in order to fulfill certain legal obligations under Swedish law.

With the support of the Customer’s consent

With the support of the Customer’s active consent for marketing and educational purposes, Rensta may share images and video clips of the Customer via:

  • The company’s Facebook and Instagram
  • The company’s website
  • Mailings for upcoming courses
  • Educational materials
  • Brochures and information leaflets about the company
How long is the personal data stored?

Personal data is stored no longer than is necessary with regard to the purpose of the processing. Storage is always considered necessary when an agreement exists between Rensta and the Customer.

The personal data will be deleted when it is no longer relevant for the purposes for which it was collected, or until the Customer requests to have it removed.

The Customer's rights

Rensta is responsible for upholding the Customer’s rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant legislation. This means that the Customer has the right to have their personal data:

  • Rectified if it is incorrect, incomplete, or misleading
  • Permanently removed
  • Restricted to a certain type of processing
  • Transferred from Rensta in a structured, commonly used, and digital format to another data controller (so-called data portability)
  • Provided in a digital format indicating which personal data Rensta processes

Furthermore, the Customer has the possibility and the right to lodge a complaint at any time with the national authority (the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection / Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten) if the Customer believes that their personal data is being handled incorrectly. Rensta takes appropriate and organizational measures to minimize risks of unauthorized access and inappropriate use. These measures are taken for the purpose of ensuring the Customer’s personal integrity.
