Fall Protection Step 1 – 1 Day
(AFS 1999:3 Building and Civil Engineering Work)
We are certified in Fall Protection and offer a one-day course that can be booked either separately or combined with our other training programs.
Fall protection must be provided when the fall height is 2 meters or more, or whenever a risk of falling exists.
Examples of AFS (Swedish Work Environment Authority) regulations that include Fall Protection:
AFS 1981:14 Protection against injury through falling
AFS 1986:26 Work on ships
AFS 1990:12 Scaffolding
AFS 2004:3 Ladders and trestles
AFS 2006:6 Use of lifting devices and lifting equipment
Fall Protection – Step 2
This course focuses on how to prepare for rescuing a person in the event of a fall accident, or someone who, due to illness, cannot descend by conventional means. Participants will learn the handling and rescue methods for specific rescue equipment.
